This academic year, learners have been given the opportunity to gain a qualification in Textile Design.
The course has gone down a great success as learners are exploring lots of different elements of textiles including:
weaving
rug making
dying
hand embroidery
machine embroidery
colour theory
pattern making
The Art mezzanine has been kitted out with lots of resources to help learners explore this new art form.
