Mental Health Awareness Week 2023

This week, beginning Monday 15th May, is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. This year's theme is anxiety. Anxiety is a normal emotion that everyone will experience to a degree. It is linked to our natural 'fight or flight' response and can be triggered in a range of experiences. Anxiety becomes a struggle when it is overwhelming and impacts our day to day life. There is nothing weak about being overwhelmed by our anxiety.

For Mental Health Awareness week, the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board have shared their resources. These are always available but may be of particular interest during this week.
