Family Links - Talking Teens Programme

Cardiff Parenting are offering the Talking Teens Programme to families living in Cardiff.

It is a four week course for parents and carers of pre-teens and teenagers aged over 10.

The course will cover some of the following topics:

• What teenagers need from parents and what parents need from teenagers

• Recognising the feelings behind behaviours (ours and theirs)

• Understanding the teenage brain

• Talking about difficult issues (such as drugs, alcohol, social media, sex)

• Finding ways to develop co-operations

• The importance of communication
